Through the completion of the project of Development and Modernization of Security Systems at the airport in Piešťany we have been able to meet the security standards in the area of the security screening process of passangers and indiviaduals boarding aircraft and preventing dangerous objects from being carried into the aircraft. In 2005 we have received funds from the resources provided by the European Fund of Regional Development at the total sum of 7.657.000 Slovak Crowns for the purchase of new security equipment. In this form and manner, this company wishes to express our gratitude to the European Union for substantial help in meeting the security standards for an airport of our category.
